Framed Chinese Export Watercolor on Paper:  A Principal Mandarin. These superbly executed watercolors were produced circa 1840-1850 in China specifically for the Export market. The figures are each identified by calligraphy in the lower left margin. Color and detail are magnificent. Excellent condition, sheet size 12” x 14”.  Matted.
