Iron Casting of the Seal of the State of Maryland, 19th C., probably from a government building. Great casting detail, with the Maryland Seal, Lord Calvert, a fisherman, and a farmer, dated 1879. State Motto “Tatti Maschii, Parole Femine,” translates as trong Deeds, Gentle Words.” In excellent condition, 39” x 30”. Price: $1,500.
