Description
Herschell-Spillman Rose Horse, one of the lead horses on the permanent park carousel at Rocky Point Amusement Park, Warwick, RI. Rose horses rarely come on the market. Wonderful carving, large roses at the bridle headstall and on the withers, unusually full mane and long forelock. Fancy trappings with graceful flowing drapes bordered with jewels, jeweled chest strap with large buckle. Includes display stand shown in the photograph. Restored, 58”L x 54”H.
