Also referred to as a "Ladies Companion Desk".  The hinged rectangular top opening to a fitted interior with adjustable writing surface covered with cloth flanked by compartments, the case with two long drawers with wooden pulls, a pull-out slide on the left side of the case, on turned legs centering a platform stretcher, ending in brass caps and casters.  Conforming shelf is replaced.  Size:  30" high x 22" wide x 16 ½" deep.
