Mahogany and birds-eye maple veneers.  The rectangular hinged top with bowed front above a conforming inlaid apron with swing leg, over turned legs.  Refinished, one hinge replaced.

Portsmouth or North Shore, early 19th C.  Mahogany and birds-eye maple veneers. The serpentine hinged top with bowed front, outset rounded corners, and double line-inlaid edge above a conforming apron with swing leg, decorated with tripartite birds-eye maple panels with cross-banded surrounds, resting on delicate swelled and reeded legs with molded ring cuffs on swelled feet.  Refinished.
