Hepplewhite Mahogany Chest of Drawers
Southern, Probably North Carolina, 1800-1810

The rectangular two-board mahogany top with bracket edge above a conforming case with a veneration of three short drawers above three graduated size long drawers above a drop-panel skirt ending in heightened bracket feet.  Poplar is secondary wood.  Extensive string inlays.  Feet are all original, replaced brasses, older refinish.

40" high x 45-1/2" wide x 20-1/2" deep
