Philadelphia Chippendale Two-Part Secretary, in mahogany. The upper section with applied crown molding with fretwork carving below, a pair of solid panel doors opening to an interior with adjustable shelves with three short drawers below. The lower section with slant lid opening to reveal a central prospect door with smaller drawers behind, the entire center section pulls out to reveal secret drawers and storage, flanked by carved document drawers and a series of small drawers and shelves with scallop carving, resting on a veneration of long drawers, the entire lower section flanked by corner columns and resting on ogee bracket feet. Refinished, replaced brasses, 89”H x 41”W x 21”D.
