"Liverpool" is the name given to products made at several potteries in Liverpool, England, between 1750 and 1840. The Liverpool glaze is characterized by bubbles and, most often, clouding under the foot rims. By 1800, more than 80 potteries were working in the town, producing not only creamware, but also soft paste, soapstone, and bone china.
