Description
Stein & Goldstein Outside Row Stander, Westview Park, Pittsburgh, PA. Solomon Stein and Harry Goldberg founded Artistic Caroussel Manufacturers in Brooklyn in 1907. Their horses are known for being large animals in dramatic “straining at the bit” poses with barred teeth. This horse, with its high-flying mane, signature large buckles and shield on the breast is an excellent example. Pictures onboard the carousel in Goodbye Westview Park. In older park paint, excellent condition, 60”H x 50”L.
